Film Screening:

The Scar (1997)

To mark 40 years since the 1984 Miners' Strike, Live Theatre presents a rare screening of the first film in Amber’s coalfield trilogy, The Scar. A film exploring women’s lives in the aftermath of the last colliery closures in East Durham, starring Brian Hogg, Darren Bell and Live Theatre favourite Charlie Hardwick.

Following the film screening Charlie Hardwick will be in conversation with original members from Amber about the film and its resonance today.
