Playwrights Flashmob - Tue 2 July 2024, 11am - 2pm

On Tues 2 July 2024 between 11am and 2pm there is going to be a national Playwrights Flashmob. (We don’t sing and dance. We write and chat.) and Live Theatre is delighted to be taking part!

Our hosts will be JD Stewart, Live Theatre's New Work Producer, John Dawson, Live Theatre's Artist Development Producer and Playwrights Mhairi Ledgerwood & Alison Carr.

We will be ready to welcome playwrights who would like to come and chat or simply work. We want to make connections and kick isolation in the ass. We want you to talk about what you’re working on and cook up ideas for a better future. We just want you to lurk and write knowing others are writing too.  Tea and coffee will be available.

It's all about eradicating isolation, connecting writers and opening up buildings. It is hoped that this could even become a regular event.

Of course, there will also be a Playwrights Flashmob event happening on Zoom! Link here. Paines Plough are going to host the Zoom.

Come join the buzz and make connections as playwrights all over the country get talking. We look forward to seeing you at Live Theatre!

No need to let us know - just turn up!
