Live Theatre offer bespoke workshops and residencies, designed around your school’s curriculum, priorities and student’s needs. 

This area of work is subject to a fee, agreed with the school based on the content, length and requirements of the programme. 

Here are some examples of our past work: 

Growing Stories Project 

An outdoor SEN creative programme where students use Live’s Community Garden to connect with nature, develop gardening skills and explore creativity. 

The project supports sensory needs while building confidence and encouraging creative expression through hands-on activities, whilst documenting their experiences through personal journals, capturing their thoughts and stories along the way. 

Live Tales Writing Residencies 

Longer term creative residencies designed around each school’s priorities. 

Working with artists in playwriting, acting and poetry, students develop oracy, creative writing skills and confidence, culminating in an informal sharing of their work on Live Theatre’s main stage. 

Creative Careers day 

Spend a day at Live Theatre! Expect a tour around the building and discover the various career paths in theatre beyond the stage. 

Drama and Theatre Workshops 

Explore all things theatre through acting, writing, directing and performance techniques. 

Workshops can be tailored to your Drama curriculum, with opportunities to combine them with a Live Theatre production and creatively respond to the performance.
