+ the writer in conversation

Read by the full original cast: JOE CAFFREY, TREVOR FOX, CHARLIE HARDWICK, DONALD McBRIDE & SHARON PERCY

Directed by MAX ROBERTS

One of the defining creative partnerships at Live Theatre was director Max Roberts and writer Lee Hall. Here we bring them both together with members of the original cast to hear an extremely rare reading of the hilarious and thought provoking short play that established their relationship.

Wittgenstein On Tyne was a short, hilarious comedy and philosophical interlude about the Austrian Philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein’s time in Tyneside as a hospital porter during the Second World War.
