Chris Mullin in conversation with Janet Plater
The launch of The Friends of Harry Perkins, a new post-brexit thriller by former Labour MP, award winning diarist, novelist and political writer Chris Mullin, whose diaries were dramatised as political play A Walk On Part by Live Theatre.
Nearly forty years after the publication of his best-selling novel A Very British Coup, Chris will discuss writing this long awaited sequel. He’ll be in conversation with Janet Plater, daughter of Alan Plater, who originally adapted A Very British Coup for TV. Janet is currently writing a stage adaptation of A Very British Coup for Live Theatre.
The talk is followed by the opportunity to buy a copy of The Friends of Harry Perkins, hot off the press and get it signed.
