About Melva Mapletree

Melva Mapletree is a brave, funny and deeply relatable 11-year-old whose adventures explore the emotional ups and downs of growing up. Melva lives in Scratchicle Town with characters like her best friend Barnabus and her Grandpa, who provide companionship and support. As she nears her twelfth birthday, she needs them now more than ever as Melva navigates confusing changes in her body, emotions, friendships and sense of self.

Melva Mapletree and the Great Undoing, which is now available to buy from Amazon, is also available as part of Mortal Fools’ wider MELVA school's programme - an innovative digital media intervention designed to improve children’s knowledge and understanding of mental health and wellbeing.
