We are hugely excited to welcome back to Live Theatre the legendary actor Toby Jones (Detectorists, Marvellous) for this once in a lifetime reading of Wallace Shawn’s darkly comic masterpiece The Fever.

Set in a hotel room in an unnamed country, The Fever is an astonishing monologue about power, privilege and Western guilt written by one of America’s most important writers. As devastating as it is acerbically funny, this New York tour-de-force has been performed by major stars around the world and now settles in at the Quayside to be delivered by one of the truly great actors of our age.
