ELEVATOR 2023: The Art of Collaboration

A directing and writing workshop focussing on artist collaboration in creating work, with Bex Bowsher, RTYDS Assistant Director (We Are The Best!, Love It If We Beat Them). 

The workshop aims to teach participants, whether they be writers, directors or other creatives ways to tackle a text from a dramaturgical point of view with activities including:

• Identifying areas of improvement in short scripts
• Summarising the plot and arcs of each character
• Thinking about the practicalities of putting a script on stage and work out how to balance those needs with the creative impulse of the piece
• Identifying own biases and preferences
