Live Youth Theatre

Live Youth Theatre are weekly sessions for 10-16s to explore theatre-making, storytelling and acting for the stage. 

 

YOUTH THEATRE 10-13s & 14-16s  

Weekly sessions to explore theatre-making, storytelling and acting for the stage.  

 

LEARN September – December  

Learn, Play and Try 

This term focuses on learning new theatre-making and performance skills.  

MAKE January – March  

Explore, Create and Make  

This term is about using storytelling, creative writing, and theatre-making to create a performance to share with an audience.  

SKILLS April – June  

Reflect, Develop and Build  

This last term is all about reflecting on the process and building theatre skills learnt so far.  

 

WHEN  

10 -13s  

We offer three groups for 10 – 13s 

Two groups meet on Tuesday evenings during term time 6pm-8pm 

One group meets on Wednesday evening during term 6pm-8pm  

 

Sunderland Satellite Group  

We run one group for 10-14s in Sunderland at Monkwearmouth Academy Wednesday 5pm-7pm   

 

14 -16s  

We offer two groups for 14-16s  

One group meets on a Wednesday evenings during term time 6pm-8pm  

One group meets on a Thursday evening during term time 6pm- 8pm  

 

SIGN UP  

Sign up opens in the summer holidays ahead of sessions starting in September. Applications for this year are now closed.

If the group you were hoping to sign up to is fully booked, we can add you to our mailing list and you will be notified when a space becomes available. Please note that everyone will be notified at the same time, so the space will be filled on a first come first served basis.
