A Moving Still written by Connor Dorrian

Read by Joe Blakemore, Michael Hodgson, Jake Jarratt & Charlotte Ryder
WINNER of North East Young Playwriting Award (16-25)
As Lucas turns eighteen, he wishes for a fresh start. A life without drug dealing, legging it from police and spending everyday on the metty. But it's not that easy. Not now the only family he has left, his older brother Jamie, has been arrested. As he navigates the situation and connects with two strangers, new things come to light and old things crawl from the past.
‘Ye not a kid anymore, this is life, it's hard. It's dog eat dog, and once ye wake up and realise that, the better. All you have to do is listen to me and do what I say.'
