Live Tales Free Workshops for KS2 Classes
Free, fun, inspiring story writing workshops in Newcastle, Sunderland & online for Key Stage 2 Classes
Observe your class embrace creativity as worlds are built, characters come to life, and ideas spark excitement and confidence. See them explore original thinking and discover their voice as they write their own stories.
Live Tales Story Writing Workshops gives your pupils the chance to create an original story with brand new characters that are illustrated live as the children create them. Every child leaves with their illustrated story to inspire them to carry on writing at school or at home.
Live Tales Play Makers introduces the class to story and script writing in a playful online workshop, using games to look at characters, storytelling and dialogue.
Workshops take place at our studios in Newcastle, just behind Live Theatre or in Sunderland at The Fire Station, High Street West, SR1 3HA or online.
Both workshops are ideal for classes and teachers looking for a new creative experience and can help your class through:
* Working as a team to tell stories
* Building resilience and self-confidence by sharing creative ideas
* Developing English speaking and listening

"The children loved the session and asked if they could carry on with another 'Yes and' story. They then set themselves a challenge to create a whole class version. They had to go round everyone before lunch to complete the tale. They were still talking about it well into the afternoon. Thanks again for the session it was excellent."
