LIVE THEATRE OPEN AUDITIONS

As we look to broaden our horizons when it comes to casting from the amazing talent living in our region, we would love the chance to meet actors and performers that we might not otherwise get to know. This could be over a quick chat, a monologue or any other way you’d like in order to show us your talent!

Though we’re not casting for anything specific, this will be a great chance for us to meet you, and for you to meet us. We always have future productions in the back of our minds in the hope of meeting people who might be the right fit for one of our approaching shows. We keep everyone’s details and our notes on file, and will be looking back on them every time we cast a new show.

In order for us to better support the theatre scene and artists in the region, these auditions are open to all actors currently based in the North East, and in keeping with our dedication to improving accessibility, we will be providing options to audition either in person at Live Theatre or online.  

Audition spots will be allocated at random though auditions will continue to be held throughout the year to ensure we get to see everyone who wants to be seen.

We are currently looking to expand our knowledge of diverse actors in the region. If you are from a marginalized background or identity we want to meet you on Tue 11 and Wed 12 July 2023. Fill in the form on the link below by Friday 30 June 2023.

By marginalized background or identity we mean trans, non-binary, neurodivergent, disabled or Black, East Asian, South East Asian and other ethnic minority heritage.
