Associate Artists

Every year, we select emerging theatre artists/companies to be our Associate Artists, benefiting from exclusive opportunities and support such as mentoring and development time and space at Live Theatre.

Associate Artists are chosen from the North East’s rich pool of theatre makers, artists and companies.

For 2018/19, our Associate Artists are Jamie Morren, Henry Lawrence, Tamsin Daisy Rees and Olivia Hannah (pictured L-R).  All four artists have previously worked with Live Theatre on various projects such as 10 Minutes To... and writing courses and we are delighted to be working with them on their next stage of their playwriting journey.

We'll keep you posted on the exciting projects that they will be involved with over the next 12 months.

Previous Associate Artists include Nina Berry, whose debut play The Terminal Velocity of Snowflakes received five stars in The Guardian, Plain Paper Theatre company, director Anna Ryder, performance poets Rowan McCabe, Matt Miller and Matilda Neill, I, Daniel Blake actor Kema Sikazwe and Theatre Company, The Six Twenty.
