Paines Plough returns with Ed Edwards' brand new play, Ordinary Decent Criminal performed by the political comedian Mark Thomas which explores the 1990's prison system and its impacts on today's World.
Returning to Paines Plough following the success of his acclaimed plays The Political History of Smack and Crack and England & Son, which had hit runs at Paines Plough’s Roundabout, Ed Edwards presents his new play Ordinary Decent Criminal. Edwards reunites with political comedian and actor Mark Thomas, who will play recovering addict Frankie as he enters the brave new world of a liberal prison experiment. The play is directed by Paines Plough’s Joint Artistic Director Charlotte Bennett. Ordinary Decent Criminal will play at the Tech Cube Zero at Summerhall in Edinburgh, before touring nationally.
