Presented by Jumpin' Hot Club in association with Live Theatre.

An all too rare appearance from classy bluesman/songster Brendan Croker. He's probably best known as a member of Mark Knopfler's Notting Hillbillies or playing as a duo with his best buddy Steve Phillips. Also, in the eighties and nineties, he led his own unique troupe Brendan Croker & The Five O'Clock Shadows.

Croker's equally at home with Van Morrison-style blues or American country music of any era. In fact, his deep knowledge of and affection for American roots music at one point gave rise to him being hailed as 'The British Ry Cooder'.

Support: Shipcote & Friends. Music simply played, with many songs dashed in humour and sung in a warm relaxed fashion. What more could one wish for in a opening act?
