Reverend Ian Richard Kyle Paisley was a firebrand, fundamentalist from the heart of Ulster’s Bible Belt who preached populist, sectarian politics in increasingly incendiary times; a bogeyman or bellwether for generations to come. DUPed explores the legacy and continuing impact of Paisley and his Democratic Unionist Party on those who oppose religious and social conservatism.

John McCann is searing political writer, and winner of two Fringe First awards for DUPed (2018) and Spoiling (2014) at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. DUPed visits Live Theatre after being performed in Belfast for the first time.

"A masterpiece in conversational storytelling. DUPed is not to be missed"  ★★★★★
