Composed
Written and performed by Rosa Postlethwaite

Tonight, the master of ceremonies stays centre stage with an in-house announcement, a thank you to the sponsors, a warm-up act…

A funny, biting and honest show about a spokesman (sic) and their institution. This project of self-reflection and industry critique deals with apologetic addresses, revved-up entrepreneurial spiel and whether or not you’re asking for it. Through subversive humour it questions our expectations of the evening and plays with what happens when the composition cracks.

Preconceived
Written and directed by Jonluke McKie
Performed by Rosie Stancliffe

Sex, sexuality and gender are pretty confusing. I’m trying to get my head around this stuff, but the more I read, the more questions I end up with. So I’ve been talking to people about sex, and what their sexuality and gender mean to them.

Two Heads, One Shirt
Written and performed by Jake Jarratt & Andrea Scrimshaw

Explores how perceptions of who we are affect how we view and participate in sport.  Pre-existing ideas of gender and sport are challenged, stereotypes are embraced and clichés are championed as ideas of gender and identity and male and female representation in sport are questioned.

INTERVAL

Written and performed by Kate Craddock

In this new solo work, Kate will ask what it means to stand out in, to get lost, to get caught up, to be watched by, to get swallowed, to be cajoled, to be ‘executed’ in front of … the crowd.
