Theatre and Seating Plan

The Theatre has a capacity of up to 170 and offers unique surroundings in which to enjoy a performance – where no one is ever far from the action!

Theatre

There are a range of seating options in the theatre and audiences at Live Theatre can get up close to the performers on stage. When booking tickets the theatre, you can choose to sit in one of the three designated areas:

Cabaret seating, with chairs around tables, offer an intimate view of the performance with a social atmosphere. The Cabaret area is situated directly in front of the stage and is unreserved. These seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis when the doors to the theatre open. This area is accessed from the ground floor, is fully accessible with no steps, and is where our wheelchair seating is located. Ticket numbers do not refer to a particular seat and seats booked in the cabaret have the reference X on the tickets. We recommend you arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the show to pick your seats.

Ground floor fixed seating offers more traditional rows of theatre seating. Accessed via the ground floor, this area has three rows of comfortable tiered seating situated behind the cabaret area.

Side seats located within the fixed seating on the ground floor are available for slightly lower prices and may have a restricted view.

Balcony seating is located on the first floor, which is accessible via the lift and stairs, and offers two rows of tiered fixed seating

Accessible Seats When making a booking please let our box office staff know of any access needs you have, so they can allocate the most appropriate seats.

You can select your own seat when booking online for a performance in the theatre.
