Open Undercroft Sessions for Independent Theatre Makers

An opportunity for independent theatre artists and freelancers in the North East to come together more regularly for networking in the Undercroft next to our bar 11am - 4pm.

Each week will have a lunchtime talk about what's on, creative opportunities at Live Theatre, or the chance to speak with visiting artists about their work and practice.

Open Undercroft sessions will also be an opportunity to meet members of our Creative Programme team as well as the theatre artists who are currently working with us.

Fri 12 July

The Paper Birds director Jemma McDonnell and members of the Ask Me Anything creative team will run an informal session exploring themes from the show, how it was created and their approach to devising and making  theatre. 2pm - 4pm
2pm - 4pm

Following on from previous Women and the World discussions Dr Tracy Gillman continues the conversation about representation and women in theatre. 
5.30pm - 7pm.

Open Undercroft has a break over the summer and will return in September
