Live is a short ten minute walk from the city centre, where you'll find Metro, main line and local rail links. When walking to the Quayside, just make sure you're travelling down hill. Dean Street is one of the main thoroughfares leading to the Quayside.
You will find us next to the Law Courts and between the famous Tyne Bridge and the Millennium Bridge.
Live Theatre is a 10 minute walk from Central Station, Monument and Manors Metro Stations. The QuayLink bus service runs every 10 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes during the evening until midnight providing a safe and easy way of getting to and from the theatre. Follow the road and take the lane signposted 'Gateshead' by the electronic notice board. Take your 3rd exit at the roundabout onto the dual carriageway and follow signs for 'Gateshead'.
Continue along the dual carriageway and head straight over the next roundabout and set of lights until you come to a junction and are forced to turn left onto the Tyne Bridge.
Cross the bridge and leave at the first exit left just after the bridge. At the roundabout, do a full circle on yourself and leave the roundabout as though you were going back onto the Tyne Bridge.
When you leave the roundabout take the exit to your left, where you see a blue 'All Saint's' sign. Follow the road, which bears sharply to the right, on your left is the Quayside Carpark in the Trinity Gardens complex. If you would prefer on street parking, follow the road down and take a right at the T Juntion. Live Theatre is a little further down on your right.
There is a car park in the new Trinity Gardens complex 100 metres up the road from the theatre, which can be accessed from City Road and Trinity Gardens. This is a secure 24 hour car park and costs 90p per hour before 5pm. As part of the Alive After Five scheme this car park is now free after 5pm. There is limited on street parking on Broad Chare and additional car parks nearby.
